'Heartland Heritage 2'

Tonight the Cape River Heritage Museum will host the launch of "Heartland Heritage 2." The reception will feature readings from Southeast Missouri authors, and copies of the anthology will be available to purchase for $6. Fourteen writers contributed to the project. A memoir about Christmas during the Great Depression and a humorous poem about a "slumber party for the Golden Girls" are two examples of entries.

The reception is from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Cape River Heritage Museum and refreshments will be served.
