State House Candidate Announces Common Sense Jobs creating bill.

Arnold, MO- Charles Huey Democrat Candidate for Missouri State House Announced his job act known as the Missouri Workers First Jobs Act on Friday Afternoon in a town hall form.

Whereas, in our state we have an unemployment rate of 8.8% and we are watching friends and family members lose not only their jobs but, the American dream itself. Some in the Missouri House and Senate want to pass a right to work bill this bill will destroy the Missouri work force. If you elect me to the state house the first bill that I will present will be the Missouri Workers First Jobs Act. This bill has four parts as follows:

1.) Inform the company which receive tax credits that they must hire Missouri men and woman first before any out-of-state workers to keep tax credits for the business, also any new company that wishes to start a company in our state and receive tax incentives must hire 95% of their work force from the surrounding area in Missouri as well.

2.) That if a business has more than fifty employees it must allow a union organizer from the AFL-CIO and the local that will represent the employees to come and talk to them about organizing the work force. Also the company must allow the employees to vote whether or not they would like to be a part of an organized labor union. Some company who do not want to pay union wages or have their employees join a union may release workers to get below the threshold so they do not have to comply, if a company is caught doing this they will lose tax credits and be investigated by the Attorney General office for violating state and federal law.

3.) Cutting some tax credits from the biggest companies in the state and thereby, giving a tax credit to workers who live and work in Missouri, and give a larger tax credit to nurses, doctors, police officer, firefighters, and teachers that work and live in our state.

4.) Whereas, knowing that small businesses are the back bone of our state and they hire local residents for their job. All tax credit that larger businesses get will as apply to small business in the state. For the company/business that does not comply with this act, All tax credit that where to be given will be placed in the Highway fund, Education fund, and Retirement fund for future generations of Missourian to enjoy.
