Saturday October 15, 2011 the 2nd Annual Breast Cancer Benefit and Poker Run will be held, rain or shine, at Whiskey River 1444 Independence Street Cape Girardeau, Missouri. The event, held in loving memory of Scott City's own Malissa King-Mier, who lost her courageous battle against breast cancer August 30, 2011. The event is to honor everyone who is fighting, has survived, or who has been lost to breast cancer.

There is NO COVER CHARGE for this event!

Poker Run sign up starts at 10:00 a.m. at Whiskey River. All vehicles are welcome to participate; you do not have to be a biker or ride a motorcycle to get involved. To participate in the Poker Run the fee's are: couples $15.00, singles $10.00. Prizes awarded include: Best Hand, Worst Hand. There will be a 50/50 drawing, food is available, cash bar and a silent auction, as well as a sound system, and other door prizes.

This is for a great cause, money will be donated for research to find a cure for Breast Cancer. Last years inaugural event raised over $3000.00. We hope you will join us to support Breast Cancer Awareness and help fund finding a cure for this thief of lives. Donations are welcome and encouraged.
