Emily Meghan Thomas and Chad Ian Corgan were married Sept. 24, 2010, in a private ceremony at St. Christopher Catholic Church in Dickson, Tenn. An outdoor wedding for family and friends was held Sept. 25 at Blue Birds A Flying Farm in Dickson. The Rev. Mathew Prerumpally performed the ceremony. Cellist was Casey Kaufman and guitarist was Donavan Dailey, both of Nashville, Tenn.
Lectors were Candice Corgan of Cape Girardeau, sister of the groom; Grishma Desai of Memphis, Tenn.; Joan DeLisle of Portageville, Mo., aunt and godmother of the groom; and Marcella Tschida, godmother of the bride.
Parents of the couple are Dr. Greg and Terri Thomas of Dickson, and Roy and Mary Beth Corgan of Scott City.
Matron of honor was Whitney Newsom of Clarksville, Tenn., sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Candice Corgan of Cape Girardeau, sister of the groom, and Radha Carlson of Miami, Fla.
Kyle Corgan of Cape Girardeau was his brother's best man. Groomsmen were Jeremi Morris of Murfreesboro, Tenn., and the groom's father. Ushers were Kamden and Talen Trummel, cousins of the bride; Wayne DeLisle of Cape Girardeau and Landon DeLisle of Portageville, cousins of the groom.
Flower girls were Annalisse Newsom and Avery Beason. Annalisse is the daughter of Joel and Whitney Newsom and niece of the bride. Avery is the daughter of Greg and Cindy Beason of Dyersburg, Tenn., and cousin of the groom.
A dinner and dance reception was held at Montgomery Bell Resort in Burns, Tenn.
The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner Sept. 24 at the Clement House in Dickson.
Ms. Corgan received an undergraduate degree from Middle Tennessee State University in Murfreesboro, and a doctorate in pharmacy from the University of Tennessee in Memphis.
The groom received an undergraduate degree as a recording/sound engineer from MTSU, and a degree in radiology from Methodist Hospital in Memphis.
After a wedding trip to Turkey and Greece, the couple resides and works in Tacoma, Wash.
