CIE Offers New Marketing Webinars at No Charge

Two newly developed marketing webinars sponsored by the Douglas C. Green Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (CIE) and the US Small Business Administration (SBA) will be offered at no charge to the public, on September 21 and September 26, 2011, from 12 noon to 1pm. The guest presenter for these webinars will be Claire Bruce, owner of Merchapolitan, a local firm specializing in market research services.

"Webinars are an extremely popular and efficient way to deliver valuable information to working entrepreneurs," said Gina Harper, coordinator of the webinars for the CIE. "We are hosting these two business growth webinars over the noon hour so that busy entrepreneurs can participate from the convenience of their desk or home office."

The first webinar, "Everyday Innovation" from noon to 1 p.m. on Wednesday, September 21, is designed to help business owners find new approaches to growing their businesses without making major capital investments. This webinar is focused on understanding the innovation needs of your customers and their markets to find continued opportunities for growth. Learn how building a business focused on simple everyday innovation can help you reach new customers and establish your company as a market leader.

The second webinar, "Catching More Customers" on Monday, September 26 will discuss how simple market research techniques can take out the stress of the sales process. "You will leave this webinar equipped with important skills for catching your best customers, identifying what 'bait' your competition is using, and then improve your customer relationships, and strengthen your brand," stated Harper.
