Missouri teen pilot earns record

HANNIBAL, Mo. (AP) -- A northeast Missouri teenager is officially recognized as record-setting pilot.

The Hannibal Courier-Post reports that Guinness World Records has officially recognized Dillon Barron of Hannibal for flying solo seven tail dragger aircraft to celebrate his 16th birthday on June 25, besting the previous mark of three.

It took about a month for Guinness to confirm the record.
