Dr. Seth Hudson Joins Pursley Chiropractic

August 1, 2011- Pursley Chiropractic is happy to announce the addition of Dr. Seth Hudson, where he will be joining Dr. Greg Pursley, in serving the Cape Girardeau area community. Dr. Hudson is eager to provide family chiropractic wellness care while maintaining his passion for sport injuries and rehabilitation.

Dr. Hudson grew up in Cape Girardeau and graduated from Cape Central High School. From there, Dr. Hudson played second base on the Murray State University baseball team in Murray, Kentucky and received a Bachelor's Degree in Biological Sciences. He was also an Ohio Valley All-Conference selection during his sophomore, junior, and senior years. Dr. Hudson then continued his education at Logan College of Chiropractic in Chesterfield, Missouri receiving his Doctor of Chiropractic degree in April 2011. He currently is in the process of completing his Masters degree of Sports Science and Rehabilitation.

During his graduate years, Dr. Hudson was selected for an internship position at Jefferson Barracks Veterans Hospital in St. Louis during his last trimester school. He also received the Health Center Consultant Award for his work at the Montgomery Health Center on the campus of Logan College of Chiropractic. Dr. Hudson is a member of the American Chiropractic Association and will begin regularly attending continuing education classes to stay on the cutting edge of the chiropractic field.

Dr. Hudson is a certified Active Release Technique (ART) provider. Active Release Technique is a soft tissue movement technique that treats problems with muscles, tendons, ligaments, and nerves. Headaches, back pain, carpal tunnel syndrome, shoulder pain, knee problems, and plantar fasciitis are just a few of the many conditions that can be resolved using ART.

Chiropractic services provided by Pursley Chiropractic range from routine chiropractic care to spinal manipulations and rehabilitation. Dr. Hudson is looking forward to building a new "family" of patients in Cape Girardeau and is currently accepting new patients. He accepts all insurances.
