Drury family donates plane to Wings of Hope

Sunday, July 10, 2011

The children of James L. Drury fulfilled their father's wishes by donating his plane to Wings of Hope. Diane Edwards and her brothers, Dan, John and Ken Drury donated the Piper 180 aircraft to help aid Wings of Hope's global efforts, including its U.S.-based Medical Relief Transport, the largest free medical referral and Air Ambulance system in America. The organization took ownership of the plane last week and will use it to aid the sometimes treacherous terrain served by Wings of Hope.
