Simmons - Voss

Michael and Lisa Simmons of Cape Girardeau announce the engagement of their daughter, Laura Rose Simmons, to Justin Timothy Voss. He is the son of John and Janice Voss of Cape Girardeau.

Simmons is a 2007 graduate of Notre Dame Regional High School. She received a degree in health promotion from Southeast Missouri State University in 2011. She is employed at the Activity and Recreation Center in Columbia, Mo.

Voss is a 2005 graduate of Notre Dame. He received a degree in computer science from Missouri University of Science and Technology in 2010. He is employed at CARFAX in Columbia.

An Oct. 1 wedding is planned at St. Mary's Cathedral.
