Cape police searching for two armed robbery suspects

Cape Girardeau police are searching for two men in connection with an armed robbery involving four victims. According to the department spokesman, Darin Hickey, officers responded to a call at 4:35 a.m. Wednesday at the Town House Inn in Cape Girardeau. The four victims, two men and two women, were staying at the hotel. One of the victims had lost a phone and called it to schedule a meeting at a local park to retrieve it. The victims met two men at the park to pick up the phone. The men were familiar with the individuals and accompanied the four victims back to the hotel. Once inside the room, the two suspects displayed a handgun and stole money and property from the two male victims. The case is under investigation.
