Chadwick Jauch Tipton, 17, of Cape Girardeau, completed his journey on earth to begin his new journey in heaven on Friday, May 20, 2011, where he now resides in the arms of his Heavenly Father.
Chad was born Jan. 7, 1994, in Cape Girardeau, the son of W. Thomas and Julie Ann Jauch Tipton.
He had recently completed his sophomore year at Saxony Lutheran High School, where he had quickly established many strong and nurturing friendships with his fellow students as well as the faculty.
Chad previously spent a year and a half at the Rectory School in Pomfret, Conn., where he again had established many strong bonds of friendship with the student body and the faculty, particularly Fred and Kerri Nagle, his dorm parents, and Claudia Abbott, his patient and tireless tutor.
Chad enjoyed playing soccer and lacrosse, but his most favorite thing was to make people laugh. With a twinkle in his eye and a quick wit, Chad's presence lit up every room that he entered and he left a lasting impression on all he met.
Chad is survived by his father, W. Thomas Tipton of Cape Girardeau; his mother, Julie Ann Jauch Tipton, also of Cape Girardeau; his big sister, Annie-Laurie Tipton, who attends school in Starkville, Miss.; his paternal grandmother, Pat Tipton of Cape Girardeau; maternal grandparents, Darrell and Marge Jauch of Park Hills, Mo.; his best buddies, P.J. and Roxie; his aunts, Tricia Parr of Memphis, Tenn., Tina (Ron) Garner of Houston; cousins, Chris Reynolds of Los Angeles, Ryan Reynolds of St. Louis, Dax Garner, Katie Garner, Tracey Garner, all of Texas; his most special friends, Lauren Hecht of Fruitland, Christian Hampton of Chapel Hill, N.C., along with numerous other friends scattered in the Cape Girardeau area and across New England.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Bill Tipton of Cape Girardeau; and maternal great-grandparents, Mema and Pepa Sandage of Wardell, Mo.; and Casper.
