Coloring, Poem and Essay Contest Winners attended the Law Enforcement Memorial at Cape County Park to honor police officers that have lost their lives in the line of duty. Pictured are: Victoria Hurley, Carl Caragine, Emily Fehr, Hudson McVay, Elisabeth Seabaugh, Mary Claire Oberlohr, Tristen Toll, Landon Byrum, Amy Dai, Southeast Missourian Jr.'s Jr. Reporter and the Cape Girardeau Police Department's Color Guard.

Great looking group. Nice that kids participate in honoring Law Enforcement Officers during National Police Week.

Police officers are among the many professions that are not paid for what they are worth but for what they are willing to do. Thank you!
