Derickson - Statler

Elizabeth Derickson and Jeffrey Statler were united in marriage April 9, 2011, at Grace United Methodist Church. The Rev. Ron Watts performed the ceremony. Music was by Tammy Smee of Cape Girardeau, sister of the groom.

The bride is the daughter of Juel Derickson of Jackson and Paul and Martha Derickson of Moorestown, N.J. The groom is the son of John and Dorothy Statler of Cape Girardeau.

Maid of honor was Deanna Jones of Perryville, Mo. Bridesmaids were Miranda Adair of Jackson, niece of the bride, and Winne Smee of Cape Girardeau, niece of the groom.

Rand Compton of Cocoa Village, Fla., was best man. Groomsmen were Kyle Schwarz of Jackson, son of the bride, and Hayden Smee of Cape Girardeau, nephew of the groom. Ushers were Brian Horrell of Jackson and Jimmy Tankersly of Rockview, Mo.

Flower girls were Charon Adair of Jackson, niece of the bride; Autumn Jones of Perryville and Caroline Hume of Jackson. Ringbearers were Emerald Adair of Jackson, nephew of the bride; Jacob Jones of Perryville and Carter Bess of Jackson.

The reception was held at Heartland Banquet Hall in Jackson.

Mrs. Statler is a social worker.

The groom is employed by Hogan Transportation.

After a wedding trip to New Orleans, La., the couple is residing in Jackson.
