Conservative minorities can prevail

The only thing the Founding Fathers didn't take into account was career politicians. Party doesn't matter, the parasites in Washington, D.C., who live off our taxes do nothing but come up with policies that keep people dependent on government to solidify their re-election.

There should be no voting for anyone on welfare. Ben Franklin warned about this. Voters should be required to have a simple understanding of the constitution. I had to pass a test on it in grade school or I didn't pass the grade. They don't teach it now because they don't want an informed population on the limits of government. There is not a constitutional right to vote in federal elections, look it up in Bush v. Gore 2000.

All the people who say the rich don't pay their fair share, small-business owners hire 70 percent of all hires. Raise their taxes and they pass it on in the price of their product. So much for no new taxes on anyone over $250,000.

The bottom 50 percent of wage earners pay less than 3 percent of all taxes, while the top 20 percent pay 70 percent. How much is enough? Watch "Atlas Shrugged." It will show you the path liberals have put us on.

Please educate your neighbors and family on what is happening. We can make a difference. During the Revolutionary War only 30 percent of the population was for independence. Conservative minorities can prevail, but it's up to us to make it happen. Education is the answer.
