Three people were arrested Wednesday night and charged with the attempt to manufacture a controlled substance after neighbors reported an alleged methamphetamine lab to police.
Cape Girardeau police responded to a call at 9:35 p.m. at 3007 Themis St., Apt. C, after receiving a call about odors related to methamphetamine production coming from the apartment.
Officers made contact with three individuals and first arrested Logan Michael Sloan, 21, of Bertrand, Mo., on a warrant for driving with a revoked license.
After receiving consent, police searched the apartment and reportedly found several items and ingredients used to manufacture methamphetamine such as lithium batteries, iodized salt and other chemicals.
Jennifer Gail Wilson, 29, and Joseph Brian Wilson, 25, both of 3007 Themis, Apt. C, were arrested.
All three were charged and have bonds set at $10,000. A court date hadn't yet been set Thursday afternoon.
