MoDOT property sale set

Wednesday, March 16, 2011

SIKESTON, Mo. -- The Missouri Department of Transportation will be marketing property it no longer needs for building, improving or maintaining the Missouri highway system. The statewide event is set for March 28 to April 1 and will be an attempt to sell 39 parcels ranging in size from one-tenth of an acre to 199 acres. Three are in the Southeast District -- a three-acre site at the U.S. 60/Dudley, Mo., interchange in Stoddard County, a 0.98-acre property on Route PP in Butler County and MoDOT's Bonne Terre maintenance facility in St. Francois County. Money from the sale of the properties will be used to fund highway projects. For more information, call 573-472-5286 or visit http://p0002/eMoDOTAdminWeb/news/www.mod....
