Marble blocks stacked along US 61 about one mile north of St Mary. I don't know the story behind these blocks, but they have been stacked here for as long as I can remember. I suppose they were quarried from a mine near Ozora and they were left here when the mine closed. The owner had a for sale sign up, in case your interested.

Ooozes beauty and serenity!! These blocks must have been the cornerstone for what was to be some kind of Missouri Stonehenge. It appears as if one of the blocks has some ancient Indian writings from centuries ago.
