Life in Cuba

My months stay in Cuba via Costa Rica, reminded me how fortunate we are to live in America. These men are salavaging what they can to repair so they might be able to sell something on the streets. Nothing goes to waste if one can think of how to fix it. We saw people repairing cigarette lighters on the street corners as they are expensive to buy! They are kind and gentle people with hopes of better days ahead. It is an unspoken wish for fear of reprisal. Hopefully things will change in the years ahead for these good people.
