"CAAW's" 2nd SPRING ART SHOW

"CAAW" (The Cultural Arts Alliance, Wayne Ozark Region, Inc.)announces the area's second Art Show. This will take place at The (former) Lantern Restaurant at 1019 North Main Street in Piedmont, MO running for 3 weekends in a row (Friday, Saturday & Sunday), April 1-16.

(Fri:3-9; Sat: 11-7; Sun: noon-5)

The Spring Art Show is open to all entrants that apply. All mediums welcome, following brochure guidelines.

CAAW thanks MACAA (Missouri Association of Community Arts Agencies); MAC (Missouri Arts Council); NEA (National Endowment for the Arts); and its own local volunteers making CAAW's 2nd Spring Art Show possible.

Art and Sole Contest - Fundraiser

This contest is a fundraiser for CAAW. Entries will be auctioned off by a respected auctioneer with half the proceeds going to the artist and half to CAAW. Set your minimum bid. Non-member fee: $10.00 per entry.

(Ideas for entries can be found by searching "shoe sculpture" in any internet search engine.)

Art and Sole is scheduled to run in conjunction with CAAW's 2nd Spring Art Show, having the same deadlines for entries. A similar contest for decorated chairs was held last year.

The embellished footwear entered, will be on exhibit during the Art Show and are also eligible for Dignitary Awards, Artist Awards & People's Choice Awards. Each entrant will be given a certificate of participation.

All entries must be delivered to the Art Show site with a completed entry form and fee Friday or Saturday, March 25 or 26 between 10 am and 6 pm, 1019 North Main Street in Piedmont, MO (the former Lantern Restaurant).

CAAW's MISSION STATEMENT: Artisans networking to stimulate, enhance and enrich communities through the cultural arts with appreciation for Ozark History, customs, area colloquialisms and folklore.
