3 Perryville board members file for 3 seats

PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Three incumbents have filed for three seats on the Perryville Board of Aldermen, according to the Tracy Prost city clerk, who released final filings Tuesday afternoon. Ward 1 incumbent Larry Riney, Randy Leible of Ward 2 and Gary Schumer of Ward 3, all filed for re-election. Leible will face Douglas Martin in April's municipal election while Riney and Schumer are both unopposed for their seat. Two people filed for the board's unexpired term left open by Al Oliver, who died in December leaving a little more than a year to his term. Both Sandra Oliver Stuart and Tom Guth have will be on the ballot as candidates for the open term. Whoever is elected will serve until April 2012, Prost said. All alderman serve two-year terms.
