Millersville man injured in two-car accident

A Millersville man received moderate injuries following a two-vehicle accident Wednesday in Gordonville. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the 2003 Dodge driven by William S. Claussen, 26, failed to yield while making a left turn and was struck by another vehicle. The accident occurred at 4:15 p.m. on Route Z in Gordonville. Claussen was taken by ambulance to Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau. He was not wearing a seat belt. The driver of the second car, Scott A. Sheffield, 32, of Marble Hill, Mo., was not injured in the accident and was wearing a seat belt.
