U.N. travesty

Last week some members of the U.N. called for an investigation of the U.S. for "human rights violations." This week we saw the consideration of Iran and Saudi Arabia to be on a "women's rights" panel.

How much more are we to endure from this useless organization. We pay about 22 percent of their budget, and we get nothing but insults for our money. We allow the most tyrannical despots to stand up and insult us constantly. Much of the membership is made up of haters of the U.S. They are only there to try and make themselves look good and to see how much more money they can loot from American taxpayers.

We should divest ourselves of this "white elephant" and put our money to better use. Most nations will always do what they consider to be their best interest, U.N. or not.

It's time we did what is in our best interest and delete our membership, and see that it leaves the country. The U.N. space in New York could be put to much better use than it is now.
