Jackson Board of Aldermen to study bids for transmission line, discuss Homecomers

The Jackson Board of Aldermen will tabulate bids for an additional electric transmission line during today's study session. Jackson Mayor Barbara Lohr said the line is needed because the city's current transmission line becomes overloaded, especially during extreme weather conditions.
