Today, Robin Carnahan's campaign launched "Republicans for Robin," showcasing five people in a growing group of Missouri Republicans and Independents who are supporting her Senate campaign - and holding Congressman Blunt accountable for his record. The launch of "Republicans for Robin" comes amid two new polls showing Robin Carnahan seizing the momentum in the final stages of the campaign as more Missourians learn about Congressman Blunt's key role in pushing through the $700 billion Wall Street bailout, his support for Social Security privatization, and his hypocritical stance on illegal immigration.

Those are probably some of the same republicans that voted for Obama. This year you'll find more democrats voting for Blunt than republicans voting for Carnahan.

Sometimes I think these campaign managers are so out of touch it can't get worse. Then I see a headline like "Republicans for Carnahan" and a couple of quotes from people that aren't republicans. It just shows how absurd they are. Like Mr. Goodtime said, same people that voted for Obama. If you vote for Carnahan, you aren't a Republican.

Zakula - get a clue! Robin is a rubber stamp for Obama...

This is campaign fodder. I first thought this was an authentic story until seeing it came from her campaign. I guess there is some truth to the old saying "I'm so far behind and I think I'm in front."

You may think this is a joke and I probably would too if I did not know someone from Blunt's district who is a BIG Republican who could get him on the phone with no trouble, but Blunt has done something that really ticked him off to the point this dyed-in-the-wool republican donated to the Carnahan campaign. Didn't think I would ever see the day that would happen and neither did anyone else in our group. A relative who lives in Springfield has regaled me with stories for years about the disfunction of the Blunt family with Matt and dad only speaking in public because they have to for political purposes.

Republicans for socialist Robin? Maybe they need to read Proverbs 24:21,22. This Tea Party Patriot is fed up with the "change you can believe in" and the slimy socialist snake change sgents spoken of in the above biblical reference. Kick the stink'n changers out of our government, our education system, our media, and give them a ticket to Iran!
