Show Me Center

The Show Me Center has had a series of successful events recently.

Country music artists Jason Aldean, Luke Bryan and the McClymonts performed last month to a crowd of 5,585 enthusiastic fans.

Earlier this month, the Make a Difference Tour was held at the Show Me Center. The concert featured some big names in contemporary Christian music including TobyMac, Michael W. Smith, Third Day and Jason Gray. Max Lucado, an inspirational speaker and prolific writer, spoke between performances. Attendance at this event totaled 4,337.

Concerts have not been the only attraction at the Show Me Center lately. Last week, the Southeast Missouri State University basketball program hosted a coaches clinic with University of Kansas basketball coach Bill Self. Along with Self, Saint Louis University assistant coach Porter Moser, former Scott County Central High School coach Ronnie Cookson and Southeast coach Dickey Nutt also spoke. One-hundred and twenty people attended the daylong clinic.

Other recent events have included the AND1 Streetball Tour and the mixed martial arts fight.
