4-H Benefit Dance

LOOKING FOR 4-H ALUMNI

All 4-H Alumni are invited to come join the Cape Girardeau County 4-H Program for a night of fun, dancing, and a trip down memory road. The Cape County 4-H is sponsoring a Benefit Dance on August 14 at the 4-H Exhibit Building at the Arena Park from 7:00 -- 11:00 p.m. The cost is $5.00 donation per person at the door. The Benefit Dance is to raise money for the State-wide 4-H Kids Helping Kids fund which provides a monetary gift to 4-H families in crisis such as family illness, fires, etc. Music will be provided by Tim Seabaugh Sound System. Several 4-H families in Cape Girardeau County have benefited from the Kids Helping Kids fund stated Donna Taake, 4-H Youth Specialist. This is Cape County's way of giving back.

There will be drinks and refreshments served at the dance and also a display of old 4-H Scrapbooks and memorabilia. 4-H Alumni are invited to bring any old 4-H photos, scrapbooks, etc. to add to the display. The purpose of the event is not only for fundraising but to also provide an event for 4-H alumni to gather, have fun, and share their 4-H memories. Contact Donna Taake at #243-3581 at the University of Missouri Extension Office for more information.
