Perryville graduate completes basic training

Army Pfc. Steven A. Richardson has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson in Columbia, S.C. During the nine weeks of training, he received instruction and practice in basic combat skills, military weapons, chemical warfare, rifle marksmanship, armed and unarmed combat, map reading, field tactics and basic first aid. He is the son of Larry and Mary Richardson of Perryville, Mo., and a 2008 graduate of Perryville High School.
