While most of Missouri's Tea Parties are reticent to offer endorsements, Tea Parties in other states have endorsed several winning freedom candidates. The Sikeston Tea Party has taken the admirable position of being the first to come forward and endorse Bob Parker, a true Constitutional Conservative, for Congress in the 8th District Republican race.

Bob says, "I've spoken at many Tea Party events across the district, and at every one of them. I'm encouraged by the number of people who are shaking off the illusion that Party leadership has been doing a good job of picking their representatives"

In their release regarding their pick of Parker over establishment pick Emerson, the Sikeston Tea Party says, "Bob has proven in the last several months that he truly cares about the constituents he hopes to represent, and we want to send him to Washington!"

A representative of the Sikeston Tea Party says, "We proudly give our endorsement to Bob Parker. He is a true conservative, Christian, pro life Republican, and he stands for the principles of freedom that America was founded upon. Everyone should take the opportunity to hear Bob speak and listen to his plans to take America back!"

The Tea Party Movement has become a force to be reckoned with across the nation. In a recent Rasmussen poll they stated that 43% of Missourians see the Tea Party movement as positive for America. Missouri has 8% more voters than other states who define themselves as "Tea Party Voters". This populist conservative movement is certain to be a factor in Missouri's August 3rd Primary Elections.

Congrats on being endorsed by six people.

You crazy Tea Party people! Your belief that this guy stands a chance against JoAnn Emerson is as disillusioned as your beliefs that you can instantly just change everything you see as wrong in our government. I think it is great that you feel so passionately about changing all the things that our wrong with our country, but I have yet to hear of somebody affiliated with the Tea Party movement that has developed a rational thought on exactly how that change could take place. It seems like the main concern is ousting every current elected official and replacing them with a new, unexperienced and unqualified person that you believe will make everything right. I guess we can thank that idiot Sarah Palin for leading so many to believe that any dunce can waltz in and do a good job.

I might add that I am not really an Emerson fan, but she does have the experience to know how the lawmaking process works. She has done a respectable job in representing our district for years. Nobody knows this guy. Your "dream" candidate will be crushed. I can't wait until August 4 to say I told you so.

I have said this before. The Parker campaign can be highly competitive.

I've written (Dexter Daily Statesman, 11 July 2020):

"Also, I find it interesting that the story of how close the Emerson-Parker primary can be this term has so little press coverage.

Just by adding "Right and Far Right", represented by the 2008 Huckabee+Paul votes versus "Middle and Soft Right" represented by McCain and Romney votes.... it's quite close for this primary.

A 3 to 5% bump from anti-incumbency feelings (bailouts to Wall Street/TARP) and intensity of core conservative voters to get Washington Insiders cleaned out.... and the incumbent could have a real horse race in August.

If people didn't keep stealing Bob Parker's signs and if he had some press coverage, this could be a real barn burner.

With best wishes to all for a robust campaign,

Mike Glodo"

Also, the lesson of Bentley (R) for Governor in Alabama - and the effect of Mike Huckabee - should give courage to the Parker campaign http://www.politico.com/news/stories/071...

At least Bob Parker can run a small business and do work other than drive up to K Street. 45% of Emerson's funding is from Political Action Committees. Now there, she does have skills.

Thank you.

Mike Glodo

How do you like those new billboards on I 55? I have taken my message to the people, and the people will speak on August 3rd.
