Labor Department helps illegals

One year ago, the Obama administration began a heavy crackdown on employers who hired illegal immigrants. Over 600 businesses were served notices of inspection in order to audit the authenticity of workers' documents.

One year later, the U.S. Department of Labor's website, www.dol.gov/wecanhelp, is now defending illegal workers' rights to fair wages and is encouraging them to file their complaints with the department's Wage and Hour Division.

Television public-service announcements on the website in both English and Spanish state the following: "Our laws protect you whether you're documented or not." "We'll talk with you in confidence -- strictly in confidence."

Obama's labor secretary, Hilda Solis, said in her message, "Every worker in America has a right to be paid fully, documented or not. So call us. It's free, at 1-866-487-9243."

The Obama administration continues its policy of breaking American law. The U.S. Immigration and Nationality Act clearly states, "Employers may only hire persons who legally work in the U.S."

Not only is this administration suing Arizona over its immigration law, it's also encouraging illegals to secretly report their bosses so our Labor Department can help get them higher wages.

President Obama last year gave himself a B+ grade. It should have been a D+ for dysfunctional and delusional.
