Considering a career in nursing

Hailey Roth of Altenburg, Mo. takes a turn with CPR on the Sim Man on Monday during Nursing Camp 2010 at Southeast Missouri Hospital. The week-long program drew 34 high-school girls considering a career in nursing. Campers were able to career-shadow nurses in patient care areas, earn a CPR card and participate in thought-provoking ethics discussions. Site visits included Southeast Missouri Hospital College of Nursing & Health Sciences, HealthPoint Plaza and area health care agencies.
