Audit finds problems in Stoddard County government records

BLOOMFIELD, Mo. -- A Missouri Auditor's office report released last month cites the need for the Stoddard County government to have more documentation and improved system procedures in several areas, including property tax additions and abatements, inventories of property, record keeping for bids and the awarding of contracts for equipment and construction projects.
