Letter to the Editor

Don't let the liberals fool you

To the editor;

In response to my latest critics, I am only 16 years old, so I have never enjoyed many of the benefits some of the Speak Out callers spoke of. However, I have the guts to write a letter to the editor with my name attached. I stand behind my comments. I don't hide behind a smoke screen of the past. I have never once doubted what liberals did in the past. However, I've pointed out twice that they do nothing today. They always bring up the past to hide their faults of today. Their past values are shared by most Americans.

I don't believe conservatives have a twisted view of America. America elected George Bush with over 52 percent of the vote. This means that the majority of America shares what liberals call twisted values. Liberals are the minority, so they must be the twisted ones. Once again I must remind liberals that the Bush administration is trying to fix Social Security and Medicaid, not bankrupt it.

Also Congress passed an energy bill that will protect the environment. The Bush administration made terrorists pay for their crimes, which is more than I can say for the Clinton administration in 1993. So don't let liberals fool you by living in the past.
