Metro Business College PBL Attends SLC

In March, Metro Business College Phi Beta Lambda (PBL) members traveled to Jefferson City, MO to compete at the State Leadership Conference (SLC).

Members attending the conference were: Bonnie Black, Marie Deffendall, Beth Stacy, Carol Williams, Sally Wallace, Christina Massey, Amanda McGraw, Monett Kerr, Danielle Cope, Susan Stephens, and Tammy Rodgers.

The students performed very well placing in several events:

1st place: Web Page Design (Bonnie Black, Marie Deffendall and Beth Stacy)

2nd place: Accounting Principles (Carol Williams)

2nd place: Database Design and Application (Sally Wallace)

2nd place: Business Presentation (Christina Massey, Amanda McGraw and Monett Kerr)

3rd place: Database Design and Application (Carol Williams)

5th place: Computer Applications (Danielle Cope)

5th place: Desktop Publishing (Danielle Cope and Monett Kerr)

5th place: Business Law (Susan Stephens)

National qualifiers will attend the conference in July in Nashville, TN!
