Jackson FBLA Attends State Leadership Conference

The Jackson FBLA delegation at the Missouri State Leadership Conference

In April, 25 members of the Jackson High School chapter of Future Business Leaders of America attended the Missouri State Leadership Conference in Columbia, Missouri. Students attended campaigning, workshops, general sessions, and participated in competitive events.

Of the delegation, ten students qualified for Nationals. Those who placed in the top five in the state were (starred are national qualifiers):

Additionally, Jordan Thomas had the top test score for Jackson High School in Parliamentary Procedure and was awarded first team for Missouri.

The Jackson FBLA chapter was recognized for participation in various state projects, including Award of Merit, Camp Quality, In Praise of Age, March of Dimes, and Reach Out and Care. Additionally, Chapter President Katie Stephens was presented with a pin for achieving the Leader level for the Business Achievement Awards Program.

National qualifiers will attend the conference in July in Nashville, Tennessee.
