Urhahn powers Oran to 8-7 win vs. Woodland

Nolan Urhahn drove in five runs to help Oran hold off Woodland 8-7 in baseball action Tuesday.

The Eagles jumped out to an 8-2 lead after three innings then withstood the Cardinals' rally.

Kody Moore picked up the win while Gabe Kielhofner got the save for Oran (10-6).

Jesse Long went 2 for 3 with five RBIs for the Cardinals.

Andrew Minson took the loss on the mound.

Alex Eichhorn recorded two RBIs for Scott City (10-3).

Juliet Dickey connected for a triple and a double in a home win for the Cardinals.

Taylor Steckman went 2 for 2 with a double, while Keighlyn Lincoln and Kendra Pinkley both went 2 for 3 in the win.

Amy McFarland picked up her eighth win on the mound for Woodland (9-5).

Stefanie Slemmer took the loss for the Bulldogs despite going 2 for 3 at the plate.
