Once again, another beautiful photo of Larry's!! Awesome shot!!

Hey, the photo is beautiful but it's NOT Boothill, Jeez, Louise, get with the program.

It's Bootheel, look at the Missouri map. The southeast corner looks like a boot heel, thus "bootheel" NOT "boothill"

Yep, it's Bootheel. Unless, of course, the poster was referring to that famous rise in the land where farmers would take their old boots to give them a final resting place.

You could tell when you were getting close because the fence posts would be covered with old boots.

(That, of course, was written totally tongue in cheek. The photo was taken along what I call Ghost Rd. 27, south of Lake Okeechobee, Fl. I'm told that old timers would cover their fence posts with old boots so they wouldn't rot out so quickly.)

It is a cool pic! I have to say this though, I've never really considered Scott County in the Bootheel.

Bootheel and Boothill. No sense in multiple people reading "Boothill" and continuing to use the wrong name for our neck of the woods, BOOTHEEL.

Boothill or Bootheel or Swampeast Missouri whatever you want to call it doesnt't take away from this beautiful picture that captures nature at its finest! Mr. Braun my hat is off to you and your wonderful, amazing, and artistic photography...wouldn't you second that foxyleo?
