High school roundup: Scott City's Cobb tosses no-hitter

Scott City senior Skylar Cobb had everything working Wednesday.

The left-hander tossed a six-inning no-hitter to lead the Rams to an 11-0 victory over host East Prairie.

Cobb also went 2 for 3 with a triple at the plate.

Wyatt Martin hit a home run and went 2 for 2 in the win.

Abby Lappe scored three goals and added one assist in the Indians' triumph at home.

Liz Brueckner and Storm French had two assists and one goal apiece for St. Vincent (11-1).

Mollie Nelms collected Central's only goal.

Cali Knepp and Apple Thomas combined for 20 saves for the Tigers.

Kasey Crowden, Erin Eakens and Alex Sotak scored one goal apiece in the second half to lead the Indians to a home victory.
