Recipe Swap: Use cookies to share Easter story with children
Wednesday, March 31, 2010
While thinking about what to write about for Easter, I had two inquiries about the resurrection cookie recipe I have used the past couple of years. Both parents who called me wanted to use it as a teachable moment with their children but had misplaced the recipe. I thought that maybe there might be others who would like to use it as well, so here it is again, in just a little different version than I have used before. I hope parents can use the recipe to have fun in the kitchen cooking together, making memories and learn something along the way. Look for this story on semissourian.com for another version of this recipe if you don't have an electric mixer.
