Owners of a Cape Girardeau business broken into Sunday said they'll offer a reward for information leading to the arrest of the person responsible for stealing more than $1,500 from a cash box. Ken's Cape Cleaners, 1704 Broadway, reported the burglary after opening at 7 a.m. Monday, when an employee found a window on the north side of the building broken. The suspect also stole a passport and a Social Security card that was inside the business, said manager Wes Keller. "We're out about $1,700," he said. "To be out that much money, it's depressing to say the least." Because their alarm system, which Keller says is "flawless," didn't trigger, owners think the suspect may be a current or former employee. Sgt. Jason Selzer with the Cape Girardeau Police Department said there are no suspects at this time and detectives are investigating the incident.
