Thanks for Redhawk sellout

Dear Redhawk Nation:On behalf of everyone associated with the Redhawk basketball program and the entire Southeast Missouri Department of Athletics, I want to thank you for helping make the Show Me Sellout on Feb. 27 a great success.

More than 5,500 Redhawk fans packed the Show Me Center and provided an unbelievable atmosphere for our seniors' final home game.

I cannot begin to tell you how our young guys felt seeing that after a very challenging year. Our players felt very appreciated, and they should have. I can honestly say that they tried to play with all their hearts every night this season. While our opponents came out on top in an overtime game against Austin Peay, it showed how having great fan support can make a significant impact on the game.

The Show Me Sellout was a great night, and it takes that kind of support night in and night out to build a program we all can be proud of. I'm asking you and all of our fans to become a part of our team.

If you are currently a ticket holder, thank you and please renew your tickets. If you are not, please consider buying season tickets and make your presence felt.
