Congratulations to Eagle Scout Matt Horst

Matt Horst is the son of Barry and Sherry Horst. He joined scouting as a Tiger Cub in Pack 212 in 1998, and he bridged over to Boy Scout Troop 311 in 2003. He earned his eagle rank in 2009. He has had various titles in his troop such as patrol leader, assistant senior patrol leader, and senior patrol leader. His eagle project was a tribute to the service men and women of the Armed Forces at the Stars and Stripes Museum in Bloomfield, Missouri. He built a retaining wall, laid several gravel beds, and set several benches, each bearing the insignia of the different branches of the Armed Forces, and a statue of an eagle to convey the patriotic theme.
