The Southeast Missourian and semoball.com are hosting the March Mayhem NCAA basketball tournament bracket contest presented by Stereo One.

Participants, who are allowed to make their picks after each round of play, are eligible to win both local and national prizes.

In addition to a chance to win the grand prize of an $800 shopping spree at Stereo One, participants from Southeast Missouri have the opportunity to claim prizes after each round.

The person who best predicts which teams will advance in round one will win two movie passes to Cape West 14 Cine plus two bread bowl pastas and two oven-baked sandwiches from Domino's Pizza.

Winners of subsequent rounds will get two movie passes from Cape West 14 Cine, a $50 First Missouri State Bank savings bond and a $50 Ashley Furniture gift certificate.

For those with an exceptional college basketball IQ, national prizes also are within reach.

National winners of each round will receive an official NCAA Agent Series watch from Game Time Shop and an official college wall graphic of the team of your choice from fathead.com.

The national prizes for overall winners include a President Series college watch from Game Time Shop, a 16GB iPod Touch and plenty of cash for those who miss three games or fewer during the tournament.

Participants who pick every game correctly are eligible for a $1,000,000 prize while those missing just two or three games could win $10,000 or $1,000, respectively.
