Brad D. Eldridge, 57, of Cape Girardeau died Sunday, Feb. 28, 2010, at the family home.
He was born Nov. 12, 1952, in Cape Girardeau, son of Glenn and Mildred Crumbaugh Eldridge. He and Carolyn Seabaugh were married Jan. 25, 1991.
Brad was a forklift driver 35 years at Do It Best in Cape Girardeau. He was a member of First United Methodist Church at Chaffee, Mo., and Cape Girardeau Elks Lodge 639. He was an avid Harley-Davidson motorcycle rider who did a lot of charity rides like Bikers for Babies in the Cape Girardeau area. He loved going four-wheeler riding, beginning more than two years ago. He loved hunting, fishing, bird watching, and hanging out with his buddies and his dog Spanky.
Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Eldridge of Cape Girardeau; his mother, Mildred Eldridge of Chaffee; a sister, Robin (Mark) Graham of Chaffee; a stepson, Chris Seabaugh of Cape Girardeau; three nieces and nephews, Melony Self of St. Louis, Matt and Brett Graham of Chaffee, special niece and nephew, Pamela Rossi and Jeff Rossi of Dexter, Mo.; his dog, Spanky; and many friends and relatives.
He was preceded in death by his father and a brother, Keith Alan Eldridge.
Visitation will be after 4 p.m. today at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the chapel, with the Rev. Marty Blakey officiating, assisted by the Rev. Frank Husted. Burial will be in Union Park Cemetery in Chaffee.
