Glass crafted specifically for Missouri wine

The Missouri native grape that's been the base for wines for hundreds of years now has its own glass. Retailers, representatives from the Missouri Wine & Grape Board, sommeliers and winemakers converged in 2009 to taste Norton wines out of different glass shapes to find the bowl that would most complement the red wine, made from the official state grape of Missouri. Having the correct shape bowl allows wine to open, giving it a more robust and true flavor. The undertaking started with the Wine & Grape Board and Riedel Crystal, a wine glass company.
