Thursday, December 24, 2009
The Cape Girardeau Public Works Department will pick up a "reasonable" amount of extra trash beyond the city's normal trash pickup limit over the next two weeks, according to a news release from the city government. The extra trash pickup is free. Residential trash customers can put out extra trash in addition to the normal two containers on their scheduled trash pickup day starting Monday and ending Jan. 8. For more information, call the city's solid waste division at 339-6351.
