Marble Hill man gets change of venue in sexual abuse case
A Bollinger County man jailed on 22 sex-related counts following alleged incidents with three boys over the last four years will get a new venue, according to KZIM KSIM. Bowns pleaded not guilty Friday before Judge William Syler and was granted a change of venue to Scott County. A new hearing date in Benton, Mo., is pending. Bollinger County sheriff's deputies arrested 50-year-old Tory Bowns in August and charged him with nine counts of first-degree statutory sodomy, five counts of child molestation and one count of attempted statutory sodomy. Seven additional charges were filed in September. In early August, a parent of a 12-year-old boy filed a complaint that Bowns, of Marble Hill, Mo., was molesting her child and his 10-year-old friend. Bowns allegedly also molested a third boy.

I live in Bollinger County and it seems to be getting out of control around here. I hope this man is innocent, and I pray for the truth to come out.
