Prayer service at 9 a.m. at St. Vincent de Paul Church. Easter vigil Mass celebrated at 7 p.m.

Easter egg hunt at 10 a.m. at Red Start Baptist Church. There will be several age brackets and prizes.

Easter egg hunt at 10:30 a.m. at Fruitland Community Church for children through sixth grade. Call 204-0724 for information.

Gospel concert at 6 p.m. with The Hinsons at Cornerstone Assembly of God Church in Cape Girardeau. There is no admission charge, but an offering will be collected.

Holy Saturday service with communion at 6 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church.

Holy Saturday service at 7 p.m. at Christ Episcopal Church, with the Easter vigil.

Easter vigil at 7:30 p.m. at St. Mary Cathedral.

Youth convention meeting at 7:30 p.m. at Faith Tabernacle United Pentecostal Church.

Easter sunrise service at 6:30 a.m. at Pleasant Hill Presbyterian Church, held by First Presbyterian Church in Jackson. The church is off County Road 541 near Fruitland.

Easter Mass at 7:30, 9 and 10:30 a.m. at St. Vincent de Paul Church.

St. Andrew Lutheran Church will have a sunrise communion service at 6 a.m., followed by breakfast at 7 a.m. The traditional festival worship with communion will be at 8 and 10:30 a.m. A contemporary worship with communion is at 9:15 a.m.

Sunrise service at 7:30 a.m. at St. Mark Lutheran Church ELCA. An Easter breakfast is served at 8:30 a.m. by the church's youth. Worship is at 10 a.m.

Sunrise service at 6 a.m. at the Red Star landing for worship service at Red Star Baptist Church. A breakfast will be served in the church fellowship hall immediately following.

Sunrise service at 6 a.m. at Good Shepherd Lutheran Chapel. Breakfast at 7 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. Easter festival worship.

Easter breakfast and pageant at 7 a.m. at Grace United Methodist Church. Worship is at 8 and 10:30 a.m., with special children's events at both services.

Worship service with communion at 8 and 10:30 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church.

First Christian Church will have a breakfast at 8:30 a.m. followed by worship and cantata presentation at 10 a.m. Abbey Road Adventures, the children's program, will meet at 10 a.m.

Sunrise service at 6:30 a.m. at Riverfront Park in downtown Cape Girardeau, sponsored by Downtown Council of Churches. In case of inclement weather, the service will be at First Presbyterian Church. Bring a lawn chair or blanket.

Centenary United Methodist Church will have a traditional service at 8:45 a.m. and its contemporary service, "The Summit," at 11 a.m.

First Presbyterian Church will hold a meal of Easter breads at 10:15 a.m. and a worship service at 10:45 a.m.

First General Baptist Church will have Easter worship at 10:30 a.m. with the musical "It took a miracle."

Maple United Methodist Church will have an Easter program at 10:15 a.m. A breakfast fellowship begins at 9 a.m. in the fellowship hall.

Easter cantata "The Way of the Cross" at 10:45 a.m. at First Baptist Church.

Christ Episcopal Church will have an 8 a.m. service with Eucharist. A 10:15 a.m. service will feature a choral celebration as well as Eucharist. At 11:30 a.m., the church will hold an Easter egg hunt for children at May Green Park.

Zion United Methodist Church will have service at 6 a.m., followed by a fellowship meal. The service is casual and led by youth. Worship is at 8 and 10:30 a.m., followed by an egg hunt at 11:30 a.m. for children.

Easter Sunday Mass celebrations at 7, 8:30, 10 and 11:30 a.m. at St. Mary Cathedral.

Evangelical United Church of Christ will have Easter worship at 10:35 a.m.

Traditional service at 7 and 8:30 a.m. at First General Baptist Church in Jackson. Contemporary service at 10 a.m.

Sunrise service at 6:30 a.m. at Hanover Lutheran Church followed by a fellowship breakfast at 7:30 a.m. Easter service at 10 a.m.

Shawnee Hills Baptist Church will have a sunrise service at 7 a.m. and a worship at 10:30 a.m.

Cape First will hold a resurrection Sunday service at 9 and 11 a.m.

Lynwood Baptist Church will have service at 9 and 10:30 a.m.

The East Cape Girardeau Baptist Church choir will present the musical "Behold the Lamb" at 10:30 a.m.

First General Baptist Church in Jackson will have services at 7, 8:30 and 10 a.m. The last service will be held in the church activity center; communion will be served at all three worship times.

Combined worship service with communion at 10:15 a.m. at Cape Bible Chapel.

Easter sunrise service at 6 a.m. at Bald Knob Cross at Alto Pass, Ill. The welcome center will open at 4 a.m. The Rev. Bryan Morrison of Cobden, Ill., will lead the service, and Marvin Lawless of Benton, Mo., will sing.

Revival at 7:30 p.m. at Faith Tabernacle United Pentecostal Church with evangelist J.R. Sellers. Services continue through Wednesday.
