HILLSBORO, Mo. -- George J. Gray Jr., 67, of Hillsboro died Tuesday, March 22, 2005, at St. Anthony's Hospital in St. Louis.
He was born March 9, 1938, at Malden, Mo., son of George and Lena M. Pridy Gray Sr. He married the former Judith A. Gruendler.
Mr. Gray was a retired teamster driver with Pevely Dairy. He was a member of Fenton Masonic Lodge 281 AF&AM.
He served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War.
Survivors include his wife; three sons, Jeffrey Gray of St. Louis, Michael (Leslie) Horton of Hillsboro, Kenneth (Trisha) Horton of Imperial, Mo.; a daughter, Sherrill Gray of St. Louis; a brother, Robert (Sue) Gray of Marble Hill, Mo.; two sisters, Elizabeth (Wayne) Leadbetter and Helen (Willis) Myers of Marble Hill; six grandchildren; nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, David Gray; and a granddaughter, Michelle Gray.
The funeral will be at noon today at John L. Ziegenhein and Sons South County Funeral Home, 4830 Lemay Ferry Road in St. Louis. Burial will be in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
