Cape Girardeau native eliminated from Victoria's Secret competition
Thursday, November 26, 2009
Victoria's Secret hopeful Ali Turner didn't make it to the final round of the Victoria's Secret Angel Boot Camp, an online contest by the lingerie giant to find a new Victoria's Secret Angel for the Dec. 1 fashion show. Turner, a Cape Girardeau native who modeled for Ford Modeling Agency as a teen, was chosen at an audition in Chicago and made it through the first round of voting to the top five contestants. Though she won't be on a Victoria's Secret runway, Turner did get a call from her former agent at Ford and will be joining her in New York City in January to work for a different company.
