Man would like help providing soccer ball, dolls for his children

Christmas brings children a special wish for a new toy or game that can be shared and enjoyed. Seven-year-old Eric loves playing soccer. He's outside all he time playing, his father says, and could really use a new soccer ball. His two younger sisters play outside, too, but they like to have dolls to play with. It would mean so much to all of them to have outdoor game equipment for Eric and some dolls to love for the girls, ages 6 and 3. You can help Toybox this year and bring joy to these children by bringing new toys to any of the Toybox locations, including The Southeast Missourian at 301 Broadway. You can also make monetary donations to Toybox, P.O. Box 4, Cape Girardeau, MO 63702. Here are some most-requested items by the children: learning toys, educational games, Barbie dolls, Transformers, Hannah Montana and Dora the Explorer items, Spider-Man, board games, children's books, trucks and outdoor games.
